I have a question. As you know, on every transactions made by Plimus, customers have to pay VAT. I am wondering where does VAT money go? How does Plimus process it?
VAT is chargeable in certain situations, depending on the the purchaser's location. We only charge VAT when it is due to be levied. As and when charged, Plimus has a duty to account to the relevant tax authority. Same goes with Californian sales tax.
In all these cases Plimus is the formal merchant of record and as we issue the invoice and collect the purchase monies the onus is on us to pay over such taxes.
