Warning to Payoneer card users, fees changed.

I recently received a note from my colleague about fees changed for the Plimus Vendors who are using Payoneer cards.
You can check your recent transactions and find yourself that conversion fees is at least 4% now.
Payoneer has confirmed that Plimus indeed initiated changes of fees and all international users of Payoneer cards with Plimus are charged 4% conversion fee.

The initial fee was around 2,5%, then silently changed to 3,0% bit later to 3,5% and latest transactions confirm it at 4%.
You can lose up to 6-7% total when using ATM.

This makes payoneer cards unreasonable and expensive as an international payout method.

We understand your concern.

We understand your concern. Please be advised that from this point forward – fees for Payoneer Cards will be a flat 3% and not variable based on international currency fluctuations.

Thank you for advise. From this point forward we'll consider using other payout methods.
Payoneer is advertised all over the web with below 2% fees as a great alternative for paypal.
What is the point of playing with those 1-2% extra behind vendors' backs when you are already getting over ~10% from their sales? Is it really a worth trade for reputation?
