I was duped into making a ~$100 USD payment though plimus.com for domainexplorer.org after being scammed. I didn't realize the scam until after making the payment.
If you search these sites on google, you will find other mentioning this scam and fraud. Others on this forum have also mentioned this scam.
I have submitted request for my refund and I'm waiting for response. This scam seems to have been going on for a while now yet Plimus still allows itself to do business with domainexplorer.org. It seems the perpetuators of the scam are getting commission from domainexplorer.org and plimus is probably getting paid by domainexplorer.org for these payment services.
Accoridng to the logos on the bottom, Plimus is supposedly a BBB Accreddited Business, Verified by Visa, VeriSign Secured, McAff Secure, MasterCard SecureCode, and affiliated with PayPal as well as known scammers onlinebrokerage.com with domainexplorer.org
Logically, one must assume since plimus is making money from domainexplorer.org, there's no reason to stop any of this and screws people using plimus, believing them to be reputtable, to make payments for services or goods. This is the first I've heard and used Plimus to pay for something so I'll probably have to opt out of using Plimus for payments whenever possible.
Plimus is suppose to be a U.S. company but apparently has ties to Israel which appears to be questionable with their involvement with domainexplorer.org
I've been using
I've been using DomainExplorer.org for two years. They always respond fast. They even refunded my duplicate transaction several months ago. I think they will reund ou too. Their support is fast and friendly.
