Do you issue unique or single license codes for multi-unit orders?

Curious how people are handling license codes when a customer makes multi-unit orders.

For example, if you have a customer that orders 10 copies of our application, do you send out 10 unique license codes or 1 license code that can be activated 10 times?

Background: We've had some of our larger corporate customers ask for single license codes because these type of license codes are much easier for them to administer. Wondering how others are handling this type of request.

I tend to put the number of licences in the registration code, like if you ordered 3 licences under the name bdurham I'd register the software as "bdurham (3 licenses).

1. How do you track the number of activations of a multi-unit license?

2. Do you allow a shared license key to extended with additional licenses? (Using your technique, I assume you would have to re-issue a new license code for everyone to use?)
