Hi,
I suggest you have a look in the Learning Center on the Take Charge item on Optimization for assistance on this.
Different products have different design demands, and a one-off payment product is different to a recurring charge product.
You also have the ability to track the whole sales page process using Google Analytics to help you get to the maximum optimization point. Building and deploying different templates and testing them is pretty straight forward. Suggest you review the Learning Center tutorial on these 2 topics as well.
