As extreme as it sounds, all the halls of CeBIT were fuller today than yesterday - these are some extraordinary crowds! Europe is buzzing with new technologies, concepts and gadgets, and there may be no more exciting place to experience them.
At the Plimus booth, the activity continued to grow, and the reception being given to the e-Commerce 3.0 concept is truly pleasing. We spoke to some high-ranking executives of some of the world's leading security software merchants today (if you're reading this, thanks again for your time!), and there is absolutely no doubt in our minds now that e-Commerce is on the cusp of making this great evolutionary leap. The idea of rescuing e-Commerce from the boundaries of the browser, and of creating a frictionless, persistent relationship with customers, is resonating as we both believed and hoped it would.
One of the executives we spoke with today gave a fabulous overview of how the e-Commerce strategy of his business truly required a complete set of solutions - flexible, available anywhere, and able to adjust quickly and seamlessly to new and innovative business models. It's clear that nobody has a crystal ball, and that every business will need the ability to tinker, to experiment, to test and evaluate as they embark on new endeavors. It's gratifying to know that the breadth of the Plimus platform, combined with its capacity for swift development and release, seems to be meeting the needs of organizations we admire and look forward to serving.
Tomorrow, we're told more of the general public will be joining us, so we're resting up and preparing for a veritable onslaught.
